About Sanstha

Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Panvel

Hon'ble Shri. Ramsheth Thakur, a former Member of Parliament, benevolent local leader and committed social worker along with his dedicated and determined stalwarts founded the Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha in memory of Late Shri. Janardan Bhagat Saheb in 1992. The vision envisaged by Late Shri. Janardan Atmaram Bhagat, a philanthropic social reformer to provide quality education to the disadvantaged and project-affected people becomes reality. Sanstha has grown into an educational foundation promoting global thinking consistent with national interest and promoting the values, professionalism, social sensitivity and dynamic entrepreneurship.

During the span of 20 years of its glorious sojourn in the field of education, the Sanstha has established 19 institutions with a strong vision and passion for being the pioneers of the modern education system. All these institutes are state-of-the-art, with ever-expanding facilities and infrastructure. Seventeen thousand students are taking education from KG to Ph.D. level in various institutions of the Sanstha.

Goals & Objectives

To promote education by establishing schools and colleges and starting traditional courses in professional studies, business management, legal, technical, medical, agricultural, physical education and other various fields.
To start degree or diploma courses in vocational education, which offer employment potential and use of local resources.
To handle projects in the field of environmental concern, tree plantation, development of barren land, forest conservation, water conservation, dam construction, exhibition and growing medicinal plants.
To organize the camps for eye check-up, diabetics, cancer, cardiac diseases, blood donation, asthma by inviting eminent personalities in the above fields and also to organize discussions, lecture series, etc.
To felicitate well known personalities like scientists, sports champions, meritorious students, literary personalities, artists, etc.
To help the people affected by natural calamities like earthquake, droughts, fire, flood, etc. by providing food, cloths, medicines and shelters.
To publish magazine / journal / souvenir for educational and social counselling in the form of daily, fortnightly, monthly or annually.
To handle projects in the field of environmental concern, tree plantation, development of barren land, forest conservation, water conservation, dam construction, exhibition and growing medicinal plants.
To start educational, medical, agricultural research Centre as well as research Centre for cultivation of medicinal plants.
To guide to export of agricultural and industrial goods or to study advanced studies abroad.
To purchase land from CIDCO or other such corporations or bodies with the help of state or central government or from any individual and run useful educational and social projects.
To institute awards, scholarships, free ships, institutional awards, educational awards or to give monitory and other assistance to students studying in different faculties and felicitate them.
